I have been looking in to the best ways to create wire-frames, mockups, and prototypes of the sites I work on. There are applications like Visio or Omnigraffle and even some web-based tools like the
Pencil Project or
Mockflow. Maybe I have been going about it all wrong and I should just do them in markup.....I think my friend Chris would agree.
I came across this great article that presents an argument to not use an image editor as the starting point, but rather keep it simple and start with html, then add css to flush out the layout, then add the design elements.
